Lecturer's Medallion: Graduate of the University of Applied Sciences in Olomouc, majoring in Cultural Anthropology and Judaic Studies, with Jewish and Israeli Studies and History and Culture of the Jews. She graduated from Bar Illan University in Tel Aviv with a degree in Jewish Studies. She has a long-standing interest in Israel. She speaks several languages: English, Russian, Hebrew and German.
Annotation:The Judaic Studies 1 course covers three core areas that intersect (Judaism, Jewish history, and the culture and history of contemporary Israel). In the basics of Judaism, participants learn about the holidays and their associated traditions (throughout the year in relation to the Jewish calendar). Jewish history focuses on significant events and personalities. Modern Israel focuses on Israel after its creation in 1948, its history, culture and relations with Czechoslovakia and the Czech Republic. The realities will be presented with photo documentation from the author's archive.
