Lecturer's medallion: The lecturer graduated in English and American Studies at the Faculty of Arts of Masaryk University in Brno. She has worked as an academic at the College of Polytechnics since 2004, and is currently a member of the Department of Social Work. In her spare time, she enjoys reading and walking her dog.

Annotation: Intermediate English 3. This course is intended for students who have completed the previous course or have a prior course in English. The language course aims to increase the language level of the candidates by expanding their vocabulary, reading, listening, and conversation. The course participants will use textbooks, supplementary texts and grammar exercises.

Course participants will use the textbook, supplementary reading and listening texts and various grammar exercises.

The grammar and topics covered are based on the English File Pre-intermediate Fourth Edition textbook. The grammar focuses primarily on consolidating the use of tenses. The topics include vocabulary and language resources for use in various everyday situations.
